Callan Young is wise to protect his boys; Shocker was quite literal with the request to bite his dick off. The Jolteon darts forward, sparks flying. It is only the other pokemon that stop him; the Jolteon growls lightly and shakes himself out, a Discharge arches off the electric type in an AOE. Spikes crunch under his paws, hurting, but he doesn't flinch.

Temp doesn't hesitate on his answer.

"I'm married to him!" Temp means Cillian Quinn and not declan walsh, but you know. The drama of it. He flashes his golden ring to the pair.
Quick, then balls up a fist and goes to try and bash whoever is closer in the face himself. He wasn't afraid of physical combat.

The Spikes in his way crunch under thick boots and stick to his pants. Temp can feel them poking and scraping his skin raw where they break through the fabric; he would need to get Cillian Quinn to help pluck them out later. For now, he only focuses down his own assault on @callan, fists raised. To him, only cowards hid behind their pokemon to do all the work.

Until the Umbreon swat him away, nearly knocking him on his ass. Out of reflex he takes a swing at the dark type- but then feels terrible about it.

"Oh fuck! Sorry!" He apologizes to the pokemon before thinking about it. Only after does he realize how silly that is. They're in a serious battle here! Yet the ingrained teaching to never harm a pokemon with his own hands is deep; Temp was more than willing for his pokemon to battle but the idea of actually harming one himself still bothered him on some levels. It was an urge he would need to learn to control better if he wanted to rise to the occasion for Rocket as he had promised his husband.

Temp is flustered but quickly pushes that aside.

"Shocker!" The Jolteon yips. The rain from earlier is still coming down in a steady drizzle. With Lugia being swapped out, it leaves them without a big advantage for the moment... but Temp trusts his husband and so does Shocker. The Jolteon shakes static out of his fur from where he stands. It grows and sparks into the cloud above before slamming down in a powerful Thunder. The attack arcs towards the Umbreon.

"You're doing great, Shocker!" Temp calls to his Jolteon.

"You too, hot ass!" Is then called to Cillian Quinn.

Temp does his best to get out of the way of what he can. Yet while Callan Young falls for offense, Temp doesn't want to give them a chance to do that.

"Pin Missile!" He cries out. Shocker cries out in reply, doing his best to bounce closer to Cillian Quinn and the Dhelmise as well. He bristles, sharp, before a a flurry of stinging pins spray towards the Gardevoir.

With Callan Young being mostly forced on the defensive from their 2 vs 1, Shocker is mostly fighting fit. Aside from the Spikes and a few scratches during the fight, he was still doing good. He was going to get a good grade in battling, which was A Thing and Possible to Achieve.

Temp had no idea what in the fuck a Toxtricity was. But it had an electric pun name and looked like it had been electrocuted. He was not a genius but even he could put two and two together on that one. So, electric attacks would probably not do very much.

"Good job, Shocker! You're doing fantastic! Get in close and attack!"

Giving an affirmative cry, the Jolteon kicked up dirt as he moved forward, intending to Double Kick the Toxtricity.

Little did he know, he had put himself directly in the way of Cillian Quinn's Dhelmise.
